Quelques heures après l’annonce de la fin de la collaboration entre Simona Halep et son coach depuis 2015, Darren Cahilll, la joueuse roumaine a tenu à rendre hommage à son ancien entraîneur avec lequel elle a notamment remporté Roland Garros en juin dernier :
